Part of our Flagship Series of single malt whiskies, 100% distilled and matured at Waubs Harbour Distillery, just metres from the ocean and covered in salty air.
Rich ex-tawny French Oak casks balanced with American Oak casks. Notes of poached pear and sultana, brown sugar syrup layered with hot custard. At 48%, the salty brininess amplifies and balances the sweetness while adding complexity to the oak.
A previous edition of our Port Storm whisky was awarded a Master medal, the highest accolade, at the World Whisky Masters 2023.
Sultana spiced jam meets rust. Heaps of vanilla, moving to toffee spices in the middle. Apply brandy, custard. Hot custard over a syrup of poached pear plump sultanas, and a glazed cherry drizzle on top of that cream.
Rich sultana and pear crumble sweetened butter, heaps of treacle, golden syrup mixed with dried stone fruit. Oak integration build up the supportive pantry spices and adds length while the 48% keeps it big oily and rich.
Lingering butter melted prune/sultana syrup. A touch of ex-Bourbon brings complexity to the spice profile. Great length.
