LIMITED RELEASE STOUT CASK WHISKY - 58% ABV

A maritime single malt whisky, matured in a very special cask, previously home to Bicheno Beer Co.’s Barrel Aged Imperial Stout and before that, home to our very own whisky!

This Limited Release began it's life in ex-Tawny Port casks, bringing that classic, rich tawny flavour profile, layered in chocolate stout. Like Old Gold chocolate in a glass. Yum

58%, 500ml, 411 bottles. Cask: ex-Tawny French Oak whisky finished in American Oak ex-Stout cask.

Made, matured & bottled on the edge of the ocean at Waubs Harbour Distillery. Bicheno, Tasmania.

BICHENO BEER CO. BARREL AGED IMPERIAL STOUT CAN - 10% ABV

Bicheno Beer Co.'s Barrel Aged Imperial Stout is a big, bold and decadent beer.

This Stout was brewed first and then matured for 6 months in an ex-Bourbon cask, which had previously matured Waubs Harbour Whisky, allowing for the subtle single malt influence on the stout. The cask was then returned to Waubs Harbour to be used to mature their upcoming Limited Release Stout Cask whisky.

This Barrel Aged Imperial Stout was awarded a Gold medal in the 2023 Independent Beer awards in Brisbane.

Tom and Phil from Bicheno Beer Co. are two local Bicheno legends and meticulous craftsmen who are making incredible quality, unique craft beer just down the road from our distillery.
