The third edition of the Apera Cask Strength from our Preview Series began its life in 20L ex-Apera Sherry French Oak casks in Bond Room 3 at Waubs Harbour Distillery and was later finished in a 100L ex-Apera Sherry French Oak cask. Bottled at cask strength of 63% bringing a real intensity to the whisky.

Rob's tasting notes describe rich dried fruits, from sultanas to pear, fig and apricot, with a salted caramel and almond overlay, a dash of orange citrus and a buttery malt backbone. Think old gold.
