Shipping InformationThe second edition of the Apera Cask Strength from our Preview Series began its life in 20L ex-Apera Sherry French Oak casks in Bond Room 3 at Waubs Harbour Distillery and was later finished in a 100L ex-Apera Sherry French Oak cask. Bottled at cask strength of 64.1% bringing a real intensity to the whisky.
The Bond 3 Preview Series takes spirit which Head Distiller, Rob Polmear, distilled at a former distillery and matured at Waubs Harbour as our stills were being installed.
Rob's tasting notes describe rich dried fruits, from sultanas to pear, fig and apricot, with a salted caramel overlay, a dash of citrus and a buttery malt backbone. See full tasting notes below.

Rob's Tasting Notes
Nose
Intense, complex sweet fruity nose. Peach apple esters, underpinned by cherry malt.
Palate
Think of a fruit custard flan; imagine the pastry buttered, the custard, topped with sugar glazed fruits. Mouth coating is sweet cherry malt. Elegantly balanced.
Finish
Lingering with buttered fruits.
