This beautiful, oily single malt whisky began its life in 20L ex-Apera Sherry French Oak casks then was finished in a second fill 100L ex-Apera Sherry French Oak cask and finally in a 200L ex-Bourbon American Oak cask. The Apera gives the spirit those delicious creamy stewed fruit and raisin undertones while the Bourbon cask coats it in spice and wood sugars providing a delicious vanilla toffee sweetness.

Nose

Apple, cinnamon, vanilla biscuit with a maritime iodine characteristic.

Palate

An immediate oak driven spice with charred bitter orange, balanced by brown sugars and stewed fruits.

Finish

Stewed apples with cream, raisin and cinnamon, big butter at the end.
