A great review of our Port Storm Whisky.

If you weren't aware, Waubs Harbour are one of the Tassie whisky scene’s rising stars. Since they first released whisky in 2023, you can see real development with every new batch and bottling, and their Port Storm is now stonkingly good.

Immediate rich tawny notes leap out of the glass. The classic Waubs caramel nuttiness meets a slightly saline character as the palate develops, and there’s a pronounce stewed raspberries and jammy character from the tawny. It’s a luscious thing. Wonderful driving length on the ABV.

If you haven’t had the Waubs experience yet, get yourself acquainted. The distillery is also quite possibly the most stunning in Australia, so get to it!
