THEN & NOW. Once a former oyster hatchery, now a world class whisky production facility.





When we first had the vision to create a maritime Tasmanian whisky, we wanted to fully embrace the influence of the wild ocean. The second we stepped foot inside this building, we knew it was the one.



Previously an oyster hatchery, the building had been sitting vacant. Over the years, we’ve lovingly restored it room by room, repurposing as much of the equipment and materials as possible, doing most of the labour ourselves.



And today, while the potential here is endless (as is the salt-induced maintenance), we enjoy the fruit of that hard work and get make the whisky we’d always wanted on our own whisky shelves.
