Last night, we cut the ribbon and officially opened our new Smokehouse!
We invited some of our industry friends, those who have helped with the build and some fellow whisky lovers to be the first to see it in action and celebrate this milestone with us. A big thanks to @whiskyismyjam for doing the ribbon cutting honours!
Many of you will have seen the amount of work that’s gone into making our third iteration of smoker, which will enable us to increase our peat smoking capabilities and be able to malt some of our Tasmanian barley on-site. Something we’re very excited for.
During the celebration, guests received one of the first tastes of our new Salt Marsh Limited Release whisky. Here’s just some of what they had to say:
