It’s been another massive month at Waubs Harbour. 

We launched (and sold out overnight) our new Limited Release Maritime Sherry whisky with so many incredible reviews rolling in.

Rob shared how the ocean influenced our Maritime Sherry whisky and continues to do so with all of our casks maturing on the edge of the ocean here in Bicheno.

Bec dove behind the scenes into why we knew this was the whisky we meant to make and reflected on the journey to making our oldest whisky yet. 

We gave you behind-the-scenes access into how we hand-bottle, handwrite & hand-label every single bottle of our maritime whisky right here at the distillery. 

We celebrated our new Limited Release whisky with a two-part launch event:

Part 1/2 saw Tim, Rob, Ben & Laurie head straight out from the distillery in the boat for the day, fishing & diving to source incredible seafood for dinner for the team later that evening.  

Part 2/2 was celebrated in our distillery courtyard with chef Andrew Gerstkamp preparing & cooking up the day’s catch on the open fire grill and shared with our team. A real treat!

Last month we also launched our brand new Waubs Harbour enamel mugs. A great way to enjoy a dram by the ocean. 

Our Waubs Harbour whisky is now available at some of the best drinks venues all around Australia, with some incredible new venues joining us over the past month. See our website for some places you can pop in for a bottle or a dram.

We also shared how our distillery site has evolved over the years, renovating it to accommodate our full production facility (including making our own wash), Bond Stores, Smokehouse, Bottling Rooms, Tasting Room, on-site Cooperage and more.

All while hosting Distillery Tours & Guided Tastings each day from Monday - Saturday, continuing to distil & mature our maritime spirit here at the distillery, planning some very exciting new releases for later this year and everything in between.
