The upgrades to our Bond 3 rooms have been completed, now filled with 100L barrels maturing in some of the saltiest rooms (with some of the best views) in the distillery.

We are constantly playing barrel-tetris at Waubs, decanting casks that have come to full maturation and making space for more and more larger casks which will mature slowly and steadily over the next decade or two.

Since its life as a former oyster hatchery, these rooms have seen a few iterations to get to this point and will no doubt see more iterations in the future as we continue to expand and fill our distillery with maturing casks.

Our long table, hand-made using old jetty boards from just outside the distillery, may be the next thing needed to move to make way. Until then.. We (Bec, Tim & Rob) will continue to enjoy a whisky with a view (the ocean or the barrels.. You choose).
