The Journey to our oldest whisky yet.
How we knew this was what we were meant to make.

How we knew this was the whisky we were meant to make.

We're about to release our oldest whisky yet.  At over 6 years old, it’s got us looking back and what it’s taken to get to this point.

Tim, Rob & I set out to create a truly maritime Tasmanian single malt whisky - at that time, there wasn’t one.

Scotland had proven how good a maritime matured whisky could be but Tassie too had the perfect climate for it.

"We knew how to make great whisky, we knew the perfect building, we had a deep personal connection with the ocean and we had a strong founding family team.

We knew the whisky that we were meant to make."

So, we bought that old oyster hatchery, we started renovating it, had all of our equipment custom made and now with over 1000 casks maturing right here on the edge of the ocean in Bicheno, on the far east coast of Tasmania.

And now, after 6 years, we know it was worth the wait.

The best part…We’re just getting started.
