Waubs Harbour
Meet the team
Published 06|2026
There’s just seven of us at Waubs Harbour.
We’re small but mighty. We know our regulars by name. We’ve built our dream from the ground up. And we will never release a whisky we don’t love.
If you’ve ever visited the distillery, you’ve probably met half of the team.
On any given day, you’ll find Rob distilling our single malt whisky, from wash to fermentation to distillation, culturing fresh yeast in the lab, smoking local coastal peat in the Smokehouse, sampling, decanting or sourcing barrels, planning for upcoming releases or keeping operations running day-to-day at the distillery.
On any given day, you’ll find Joseph, Daisy or Xanthe hosting guests for Distillery Tours & Guided Whisky Tastings, hand-bottling, hand-labelling and hand-writing our maritime whisky, shipping out your orders, replying to your emails or managing the behind-the-scenes running of the distillery.

On any given day, you’ll find Ben sharing our whisky at some of the best whisky venues around Australia, hosting whisky events or at the distillery in Bicheno catching up with the team.
On any given day, you’ll find Tim in the office, meeting with the team, planning future releases and events, managing building projects, financials and all the behind-the-scenes running of the business or even spotting whales from his desk.
On any given day, you’ll find me (Bec) and Daisy capturing and sharing what’s happening at Waubs Harbour that week with you, from behind-the-scenes updates for our email members to updating our followers on what’s coming up.
And that’s just scraping the surface. Like we said, small but mighty.
Together, we’ve staked a lot on the idea that world-class maritime whisky could come from a converted oyster hatchery on the edge of the Tasman Sea.
We’ll let you be the judge.
