A true celebration of our state’s incredible Tasmanian whisky industry with events all around the state, bringing together the people who make it what it is.

LAST SATURDAY - Launch event at Lark Distillery, Pontville:

A week of celebrations kicked off on Saturday at @larkdistillery.

On stage are this year’s World Whiskies Awards winners, with the majority of the Australian category awarded to Tasmanian distilleries. We’re proud to be standing up there amongst such great company.

MONDAY - The Architecture of Aroma at Sullivans Cove Distillery, Hobart

An intimate seated tasting that reframed Tasmanian Whisky through the language of perfumery, in collaboration with Tasmanian perfumer @the_rac_on_teur at @sullivanscovewhisky.

TUESDAY - Salt Marsh Ed. 2 Celebrations at Waubs Harbour, Bicheno

Our team lunch at the distillery was a little something special… Freshly caught fish, from just outside the distillery, brined & then smoked with our local, coastal peat in the Smokehouse at the distillery.

Meanwhile in the courtyard, Rob was smoking spent-barley-fed pork and pork ribs, smoked with barrel shavings, from our farmer Will who collects our grain each week.

And, of course, we shared a dram of our new Salt Marsh Edition 2 whisky.. Coming Wednesday the 12th of August!

WEDNESDAY - Boilermaker North at Saint John’s, Launceston

A great night at @saintjohncraftbeer in Launceston, one of the state’s best craft beer bars, 5 different Tasmanian whiskies, including our new Limited Release whisky, was paired with Saint John’s beers.

WEDNESDAY - Meet the Maker at The Farm Shed, Bicheno

Over three courses at @thefarmshedtas, 6 different Tasmanian distillers, including our Head Distiller Rob, rotated around guests tables across the night, so guests were able to share a drink and a conversation with a different maker between every course.

THURSDAY - Top Pours at The Whisky Club Rooftop, Hobart

A great night of curated line-up of standout Tasmanian drams set against celebrated international expressions, all overlooking Hobart city from the rooftop of @thewhiskyclub.com.au

SATURDAY - Tasmanian Whisky Showcase at PW1, Hobart

This year marked ten years of Tasmanian Whisky Week, and the Tasmanian Whisky Showcase is the culmination of the week of celebrations!

A massive afternoon and evening with Tim, Bec, Rob & Ben flat out sharing our whisky, including our new Limited Release Salt Marsh Edition 2 whisky where guests had the very first chance to take home a bottle.

We were blown away with all the love for Waubs Harbour and our new Limited Release ‘Salt Marsh Ed. 2’ whisky (coming Wed 12th!).

AND… COMING THIS WEDNESDAY - SALT MARSH ED. 2!

Set the alarms - the day is nearly here..! Our brand new Limited Release Salt Marsh Edition Two whisky is coming this Wednesday (the 12th)!

Members of our email list community will receive priority access at 7PM AEST. Our Limited Releases often sell out online to our email list and don’t even make it to public release.
