AN AFTERNOON OF WHISKY, Canapés & KELP AT WAUBS HARBOUR

Join us for an afternoon of whisky, canapés & kelp to celebrate the launch of our new ‘Kelp Revival’ Limited Release whisky at Waubs Harbour Distillery!

Over an afternoon of canapés by chef Andrew Gerstkamp, you will be treated to a guided tasting of our new ‘Kelp Revival’ whisky by Head Distiller Rob Polmear and hear more on the exciting trials currently happening within eyesight of our distillery to regenerate the nearly-extinct giant kelp forests from Dr Scott Bennett (Institute for Antarctic and Marine Studies and Great Southern Reef Foundation).

Warm your hands by the open fire as you overlook the ocean and lichen-covered rocks in our Tasting Room and outdoor courtyard.

Our upcoming Limited Release whisky ‘Kelp Revival’, is a sweet, juicy maritime single malt whisky, matured in Apera Sherry casks, finished in a rare 70 year old Tawny Port cask and married with a smidge of coastal peated whisky, bringing balance, nuttiness and a unique complexity to this Limited Release.  Public launch is Wednesday the 4th of September but guests will have the first opportunity to taste and take home a bottle.
