Shipping InformationThis edition of our Double Tawny Port began it’s life in 20L ex-Tawny Port French Oak casks in Bond Room 3 at Waubs Harbour Distillery and was later finished in a 100L ex-Tawny Port French Oak cask, allowing the spirit to soften resulting in a sweet rounded port style.
Notes of mixed dried fruits, stewed apples, nutmeg and cinnamon, sweetened shortcrust pastry and orange zest for balance. A rich, savouring spirit, worthy of a nightcap in a seaside cabin.
A beautiful combination of fortified and oak with that oily Tasmanian malted barley coming through in the spirit.

Rob's Tasting Notes
Nose
Obvious sultana mixed with that buttery dough like note, but the oak does a lot of talking, think sultana apple spice - fruit mince pie!
Palate
Sweet bitter balance of sultana. Again compared to that rich fruit mince pie. Spices from the oak and an almost buttered orange zest for balance. A little glazed cherry in there too.
Finish
Buttered lingering fruit mix.
