This single malt whisky began its life in 20L ex-Apera Sherry French Oak casks then was finished in a second fill 100L ex-Apera Sherry French Oak cask and finally in a 200L ex-Bourbon American Oak cask.
This Apera Bourbon Cask release is a stunning single malt whisky at 43%, with notes of vanilla creamy stewed fruits coming from the ex-Apera Sherry Cask and big wood spices from the ex-Bourbon cask and with that Waubs Harbour maritime characteristic on the nose. Its complexity of flavours has earned it the title of Rob's favourite.
